Proyek Pembangunan MRT Resmi Diluncurkan

Jakarta (ANTARA) - Pemerintah Provinsi (Pemprov) DKI Jakarta, Kamis resmi meluncurkan proyek pembangunan sarana transportasi massal atau Mass Rapid Transit (MRT).
"Akhirnya, setelah 24 tahun, dengan mengucapkan Bismillahirrahmanirrahim, pembangunan MRT di Jakarta dimulai," kata Gubernur DKI Jakarta Joko Widodo (Jokowi) dalam acara soft launching proyek MRT di Bundaran HI, Jakarta Pusat, Kamis sore.
Setelah dilakukan soft launching, sambung Jokowi, maka selanjutnya pembangunan fisik sarana transportasi masal tersebut diserahkan sepenuhnya kepada PT MRT Jakarta dan para pemenang tender.
"Mengenai pengerjaan fisiknya, itu kita serahkan kepada PT MRT Jakarta. Bisa dimulai hari ini juga atau besok, itu uran mereka (PT MRT Jakarta). Yang penting, kita minta agar secepatnya pengerjaan fisik dimulai," ujar Jokowi.
Sementara itu, pada kesempatan yang sama, Direktur Utama PT MRT Jakarta Dono Boestami juga secara resmi mengumumkan nama-nama pemenang tender MRT.
"Setelah sebelumnya kita lakukan lelang untuk proyek pembangunan MRT, akhirnya kita telah menetapkan para pemenangnya. Mereka juga sudah resmi menjadi pemenang karena sudah melewati masa sanggah selama lima hari kerja," tutur Boestami.
Menurut Boestami, ada dua konsorsium yang menjadi pemenang tender untuk tiga paket MRT bawah tanah (underground), antara lain Shimizu-Obayashi-Wijaya Karya-Jaya Construction Joint Venture untuk dua paket. Sementara itu, Sumitomo Mitsui Construction Company (SMCC)-Hutama Karya Joint Operation untuk satu paket.
Seperti diketahui, pengerjaan proyek MRT dibagi menjadi delapan paket konstruksi sipil. Rinciannya, tiga konstruksi sipil bawah tanah (underground), tiga konstruksi sipil layang dan dua paket pengadaan sistem dan rolling stock (pengadaan kereta).
Dari delapan paket tersebut, enam paket sudah dilakukan lelang tender terlebih dahulu, yakni tiga paket bawah tanah dan tiga paket layang. Konstruksi sipil MRT bawah tanah dikerjakan terlebih dahulu karena waktu pembangunannya lebih lama dibandingkan dengan konstruksi layang.
Dari hasil lelang tiga paket underground senilai Rp3,6 triliun, terpilih dua konsorsium dari total tujuh konsorsium gabungan perusahaan Jepang dan perusahaan Badan Usaha Milik Negara (BUMN) yang mengikuti lelang tender. (ar)
